In 1966, the aluminum yawl "DORIC" was built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Bremen in high-quality aluminum for the American Stanley Tannanbaum as a regatta yacht. At the end of the 60s she took part in the Bermuda-Skagen Race. She was designed by W.H. Tripp, a well-known American designer, who equipped the ship very comfortably despite the regatta ambition of the owner, so that DORIC is also suitable for longer voyages. The sailing characteristics are sublime above all, on and below deck it is good to live with plenty of space to sail and relax. On board are seven full-fledged berths in three rooms, a V-double berth in the forecastle, two large pilot berths in the saloon and a full-fledged navigator's berth behind the navigation table as well as two large berths in the aft cabin.
